Club Meetings:

Club meetings are open to all persons interested in amateur (ham) radio. There is no charge to attend our meetings and everyone in attendance, ham radio operator or not,  receives a free door prize ticket. Raffle tickets are sold at $1 each or 6 for $5 for those persons in attendance that wish to participate in the raffle drawing. Most raffles are for 50% of the ticket sales, with the other 50% going to the club. Occasionally a ham radio related item such as an antenna or a radio will be the raffle prize. We normally meet at the Kern Valley Elk’s Lodge in Wofford Heights. Doors usually open at 9 and the meeting usually begins at 9:30. Check the  home page for current information.

Prune Juice and Baloney Sandwich Net and Gatherings:

The PJ&BS group is not an official part of the club, but is operates in parallel with the club and the membership is primarily club members. There is a daily net every morning, except Sunday, at 9:00AM on the Rocky Point Repeater, 145.450 (-) Tone 156.7. All licensed ham radio operators are invited to join in. There is also a monthly lunch on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The location varies and is usually scheduled about 1 week in advance. Check in on the net or check the home page of this website for the location of the next lunch. There is also a quarterly breakfast held on the first Saturday of the second month of each calendar quarter. As with the luncheon, check the net or the front page of this website for location of the next breakfast.
